One of the best things that the Canon Pixma IP 3000 can boast of the the speed and direct printing of photos and pictures.
The Pixma IP3000 can print around 22 ppm for black prints and around 15 ppm for the color prints.
Plus of course with the presence of Pictbridge, the ease of use when printing photos and pictures straight from your pictbridge enabled devices like mobile phones, pda, digital cameras are all but one click away.
Another feature that it boasts of is the crystal clear quaility of the photo that it can print because of the Canon Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering or FINE.
Another cool thing about it is the Canon Think Tank System, it really can save you a lot of money because you wont be buying Ink Cartridges anymore. All you need are ink refills for individual colors and you are set.
What really save you a lot is that all you need to replace are the amount of ink each color used. If you just used up and printed out the Red Ink then you wont have to replace everything unlike the Ink Cartridge enabled Printers. You would just need to replace the Red Ink tank and not everything else.
Here are other Specifications the Canon Pixma IP3000

- Dual paper path with built-in 2 sided printing
- Maximum 4800 x 1200 color dpi with microscopic droplets as small as 2 picoliters
