Blu-ray players are now starting to get a lot more cheaper and cheaper as time passes by.
This year, 2009, is conceived to be the year where blu-ray players prices would drop down to less than a $100 a piece. Well that ain’t impossible since most tech gadgets nowadays lose their values because of the vast changes that is happening around. A lot of improvements, a lot of additions, and more and more gadgets are starting to mushroom everywhere.
But as of the moment this Amex BD-P1 Blu-ray Player is one of the cheapest blu-ray player around, and would be for a little bit more time. It costs $199, so that means that it just surpassed the $200 mark.
One disadvantage that this blu-ray player has is that it has no BD Live at the moment but has had updated its firmware at least.
Other features and specifications of Amex BD-P1
Supports both single and dual-layer BDR and BD-RE discs and BD ROM discs, has decoders for Dolby Digital and DTS formats.
Also has ethernet port, usb 2.0 port, 10-bit/108MHz video digital-to-analog (D/A) conversion, 24-bit/192kHz and audio digital-to-analog (D/A)converter.
