Garmin already announced its partnership with Asus for the newest Nuvifone to date.
Because of this, the original Nuvifone from Garmin that was scheduled to be released last year was rebranded to be called as Garmin-Asus G60 Nuvifone.
This is a big announcement, knowing that the World Mobile Congress is still a few weeks away. I think this is a big step for both manufacturers since Garmin has been known for their GPS Phones which is the most widely used GPS device as of the present time, along with Asus which is one of the most known manufacturers of Notebooks, Laptops and other Gadgets.
The G60 Garmin-Asus Nuvifone is scheduled to be released in the early half of 2009. This is a very great tool and gadget specially for those people who always travel to unfamiliar places, since Garmin has been known for its GPS capable gadgets.
