I have had the Canon MX308 for 6 months already and so far I have already tested most of its features and functions. One feature that most are having problems is how to use Canon MX308′s Fax capability.

For the benefit of those who are having problems on how to use Canon MX308 Fax Function here is the procedure that I do and use.

How to Receive Fax using Canon MX308

Make sure everything is ready once someone calls and asks for your Fax Tone, like the paper and make sure that the Canon Ink Cartridge are not Low on Ink. Why? because the Fax would not start to print if it is low on ink whichever Canon Ink Cartridge may it be.

Once everything is ready press the Fax Button on your Canon MX 308 and press either the Color or the Black Button in which the Fax would print the data out.

Wait for the Canon printer to beep and for the Printer LCD to flash “Hang Up the Phone”

And thats basically it! So that is how I use the Fax Function of the Canon MX 308.
