Well, there is nothing to be excited about with the Intel Atom N280, except for some few slight increases in its performance and price.
There is around 39% more heavier price tag on the N280 powered notebooks rather than the N270 netbooks of the present.
While on the performance side there was 60Mhz more on the clock speed, new graphics, and a 667Mhz front side bus compared to the N270′s 533MHz.
But there was one thing that the Intel Atom N280 should be looked out for, which is its power efficiency that is more improved than other processors, which means less energy needed, less power consumed, but with an additional “oomph”, which means more battery life just like what netbooks are designed to be.
The Asus 1004DN was the first netbook to use this Intel processor.
