Netbooks are by far the said gadgets that would dominate the year 2009, but there are still more people who prefer notebooks against netbooks and here are some various reasons.

Netbooks have greater portability compared to a notetbooks due to its small size and lightweight materials. A very big advantage for people who are always on the go, people who always travel, but if you are a person who often stay at the same place and does not travel a lot and does everything on your laptop, then having a netbook would be a very much hassle as it may strain your eyes with its small screen and your hands with its small keyboard.

Now compared to a netbook, Notebooks have the advantage of more biggers screens for easier visuals and bigger keyboards for easier typing.

But all of these can be fixed with a simple solution when using a Netbook.

With todays innovations, everything in a part of a computer system can now be connected seperately, so if you need a bigger keyboard, there is a portable plug-n-play keybaord available at your local computer shop store.

If you need a bigger screen there is an optional portable screen available also. With more and more netbooks having a VGA out, portable lcd screens can now be used simultaneously for easier visuals on your netbook.

Another advantage that a Netbook has is that, Netbooks are far more cheaper than Notebooks plus Netbooks batteries lasts even more longer than Notebooks since it uses little energy on operating its system.

My Verdict is that if you need portability and affordability, go for a Netbook but if you need comfort and more functionality and management then go for the Notebooks.

Reminder when choosing Netbooks, the smallest screen that a normal person can appreciate is the maximum of 10 inches and no less.

My choice?

Its the Notebook. By far I do not care about portability since Notebooks are enough for me to be called portable, It has the right size than a full sized laptop. Enough for me to do my online works smoothly.
