Google just released the Picasa for Macintosh OS users, this seems to be a very great news both for Picasa and for Macintosh users.
Google previously offered both a standalone Picasa Web Albums uploader and an iPhoto plugin for Mac users, and the Picasa released was still the same as the Picasa that was released to other OS like Microsoft and Linux.
Picasa’s features such as the ability to keep track of photos anywhere on your hard drive and the non-destructive photo editing is still there.
Even though Picasa for Macintosh users are still in Google Labs, meaning it is still in its beta phase, Google still wanted to get an early version for those who would attend the Macworld 2009.
Updates for this soon.
