The first time I have seen this Samsung LED TV, I knew that this would revolutionize the High Definition Televisions in the country. The Samsung LED TV is still priced at a jawdropping 197k PHP here in the Philippines and that price is still not the Samsung LED TV Series 8 ( 55 inches). I could just imagine how these prices would kind of drop once the Samsung LED TV Series 8 would start to ship here in the Philippines.

The advantage of the Samsung LED TV is that it is more  richer and brighter in contrast compared to other HD TV’s available as of the moment.

The feature highlights of the Samsung UN55B8000 LED include Mega Contrast: 5,000,000:1, 240Hz Auto Motion Plus, Internet@TV that allows you to receive content via Yahoo!, Flickr, and other online TV Widgets on screen, USB 2.0 Movie: Multi-Media Center makes it easy to watch movies, browse photos and listen to music on your TV, up to 40% less power consumption than conventional LCDs and a ToC (touch of color) bezel beginning as a deep piano black, fading into distinct chrome and finishing as a clear prism.

Interactivity paired with eye candy goodness, well that is one great bang for the buck.

I wonder though if other brands that cater HDTV‘s would also start to make their own version of LED TV.
