Well, this is not a surprise anymore since there are a couple of obvious views when it comes to the OS war between Windows XP VS Windows Vista.
First and foremost, the compatibility factor, there are still more hardwares and peripherals designed to be ran on XP rather than on vista.
Then comes the resources, Vista is a real resource hogger, no wonder only a few wants to jump the bandwagon. The minimum requirements for vista is at least 1 gig of memory, an comparison to windows xp’s 256mb of memory.
Then the price tag on those operating systems, vista is more pricey than windows xp. If you were really tight on the budget you would still prefer to run your system on windows XP rather than Windows Vista.
So the question is, would you still embrace the long loved xp for vista?
The most common answer would be a resounding YES. Users are more on the usability than aestethics.
Plus dont forget the speed, because speed does matter.
What about you? what operating system are you using now??
